[GJ Retcon Strikeouts again. This stuff is all gone, thank goodness.]

Forte finished arranging the gifts where Patience would see them. The closest he'd found to a white wolf was a large white puppy, but it did look acceptably wolf-like. The box containing the glass flower from Shido was tucked carefully between its paws, as if the stuffed puppy was guarding a favorite toy.

The second stuffed animal had almost been unintentional. He'd intended to find a wolf, but upon seeing the little red stuffed bat he'd been unable to resist. Maybe it was the little felt fangs...

He'd tucked it next to the wolf, satin-lined wings wrapped around itself as if it was napping.
